Boots

Lori's footwear was our biggest challenge. She was insistent that we find heels for her, but we thought she should wear flats. We felt that she'd be more active in the country, and we didn't want her breaking a heel or getting stuck in a muddy landscape every weekend. Additionally, we wanted to show her that flat shoes could be just as stylish as stilettos when paired with the right outfit. We hit the jackpot when we came across these tall, flat riding boots. Lori could tuck her jeans into them for an en vogue look, and she had recently seen a similar style in a magazine, so she felt they were worthy of wear. Plus, Lori's long legs meant she could wear the boots without looking like she was standing in a hole.
