Hair and makeup

Myra's face was often hidden by her hair falling in front of her eyes. To remedy this, she would stick a barrette in haphazardly, resulting in a schoolgirl look. We decided to pull the front half of her hair back, for a more sophisticated style. Once this was done, our mission was to emphasize her beautiful features with makeup. We applied a dramatic look to her eyes with smoky eye shadow and liner and defined her eyebrows with a brow pencil and powder. Her cheeks required just a touch of pink, for a natural flushed look. And, finally, we went with a natural look for her lips, applying a nude yet shimmery gloss that wouldn't compete with her eye makeup. Next up: her jewelry.
