Britney had a penchant for gold, especially because the metallic trend continued to live on during the time of the shoot. But as you saw in her before photo, she had a tendency to go overboard with it. We wanted to show her that a little goes a long way, so we decided to accessorize her with this ornate jewel-encrusted gold bracelet. While wide cuffs were in vogue, we felt that Britney's slim wrists would be swallowed up by one. We demonstrated this for her to show her that just because something is trendy doesn't mean it looks good on everyone. She agreed, and we compromised on the bangle.
