Hair and Makeup

Britney's going-out makeup normally consisted of glitter, shimmer and more glitter — think disco queen meets Mariah Carey — and her sunglasses sat on her head at all times, acting as a hair accessory. Our hair and makeup artist Pauline wanted to give Britney a toned-down look, one that didn't include her ubiquitous shades. But Pauline had to keep in mind that Britney wasn't one to blend in with the crowd. Pauline compromised by giving Britney a touch of color on her eyelids and lips while keeping the rest of her face natural. As for Britney's hair, Pauline decided to keep the behind-the-ears look that Britney preferred, but use a fashionable wide headband instead of glasses.
